Gretchen Kingry: Founder

With over 10 years of experience in the retail space; she is a force to be reckoned with.

Her 6 year journey with Amer Sports began with analyzing SKU optimization based on retail location and consumer demographic. This was across Salomon, Atomic and Armada. After promotions and personal growth, she co-lead a team renegotiating Co-Op for Amer’s largest retail partners; Dicks Sporting Goods, Amazon, REI and Backcountry.com. Through her leadership the team saved the company over 3 million dollars in the first year.

After 6 years at Amer Sports, Gretchen pivoted to a start up, Curated. She built their Winter Sports Category; onboarding and negotiating over 80 brand contracts. After Curated’s first season in Winter Sports, she negotiated top tier margin with 63 of those brands saving the company over $650K. In conjunction, she also built Curated’s compliance policy, which included their vendor guide and chargeback program. Through these programs she streamlined inbound operations and brand communication.

However above all, her claim to fame is her creation of the Joint Business Plan (JBP). JBPs are a true compromise that elevate the retail partner and the brand to achieve optimal sales. Through innovative marketing, data optimization and targeted consumer expansion, JBPs are the ideal partnership for the future.
